Marijuana Mother
I just found this article this morning. Apparently Sanjaya's mother was arrested for growing marijuana in 2005. When the police showed up at the house his sister was question as to the whereabouts of the mother. She told the police her mother was at another location in Washington. When the police showed up at that location there was another pot growing operation going on. Ha! Does American Idol do any kind of background search on their final contestants? This is something that they could easily have found out. Hmm.

Hi, it's me
So I haven't blogged in a long time. There is a reason for that: lack of time. I started a new job last Thursday (the 5th) working full time for a company in Newport Beach. My body isn't used to getting up early and working 40 hours a week. It's really taken it out of me and I'm pretty tired all the time now; it will take some adjustment. I like the job and consider it my first "big boy" job. I think it's great that I have a big boy job now, but I don't like growing up. It sucks, a lot. So yeah, that's why the lack of posts. Here is a picture of a baby for you:

Sour Patch Kids Gone Wild

Anyone been wondering why Sanjaya Malakar has been doing so horribly well at staying in the American Idol competition?? It's because there is a website called Vote for the Worst which has been asking all of it's visitors to vote for the worst person on the show each week. Sanjaya has been up there every week collecting all of the votes for being the worst. Now it makes sense why he is still on the show, doesn't it?
Oh, and here is a lame video of our contestant...

Angels and Ducks
I'm at the opening game at angel stadium and having a great time with my friends. Unfortunately I'm remembering how slow baseball is in comparison to other sports.... namely hockey. Apparently while Brent and Jon were waiting outside the stadium for everyone to show up, Kunitz, Perry, Getzlaf and Penner of the Anaheim Ducks were walking in. That was the highlight of the game so far. Don't get me wrong I like baseball, but it can sometimes gives me feelings of ennui which hockey has never done. Let's hope my feelings towards baseball improve by the end of the game.

Nintendo ON
Apparently Nintendo has been in development for the next new console for quite some time; even before the Wii was launched since. The video continually refers to a "revolution" which was the Wii's orginal name. I stumbled across this video online for what they are calling "ON". It is virtually interactive game system and takes it one step farther than the Wii does. The system looks to be a head shaped type console which acts as a storage unit for your virtual headset when you aren't wearing it. (You don't wear the entire thing though.) Here is a video for the Nintendo ON, it seems to be a little old since the Wii in the video just has a big question mark, but it's still great. Skip to the 3:15 mark if the counter is counting up, or 3:05 if the counter is counting down...unless you want to watch a ton of stuff you already know/don't care about.
I can't wait for it to come out. I'm pretty excited for it, but not as excited as this kid was to get his Nintendo sixty-foooooouuuuuuuurrrrrr....
