Duckies
It has been quite a while since I last blogged, and far longer from what I consider to be a real blog (not a survey or quiz post). So I thought it should be time for a better real blog. I came across this story a little while ago and it makes me warm and fuzzy to think about it...
15 years ago a container with 29,000 rubber duckies fell off a cargo ship in the pacific. Since that time the ducks have been traveling around the world and remembering to stay in groups together. 19,000 of them drift south to Indonesia and South America, while the remaining 10,000 drift north traveling over North America in the Arctic Ocean and are beginning to turn up at some of the British beaches. It's pretty dang cool if you ask me. I would love to get one of those ducks; actually I would love to get many of those ducks considering that they are going for £1,000 each on the open market. (that would be $2000+ with our weakening dollar!)
